We are pleased to present Hon. Barr. Uju Kennedy, an accomplished lawyer, entrepreneur, politician, and producer of Nollywood films. She has made significant contributions to various fields, and her notable achievement includes being the first woman to run for the presidency of Nigeria under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Hon. Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye is a dedicated wife and mother, balancing her personal commitments with her unwavering passion for public service. Hailing from Awka in Anambra State, she embodies a strong sense of community and social responsibility.
Hon. Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye is driven by a deep commitment to philanthropy and champions causes that uplift the welfare of the less fortunate and disabled in our society. Her acts of kindness and charity have benefited various groups, including students, widows, and artisans. She has established numerous health centers in rural areas of Kogi, Kaduna, Kano, Imo, and Anambra states, ensuring accessible healthcare for underserved communities. Additionally, she has donated skill development centers in remote areas, empowering individuals with valuable skills for sustainable livelihoods.
Despite her extensive contributions, Hon. Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye has never held a political role or accepted a government position. However, she has been a dedicated member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for an extended period, actively supporting the party’s principles and values.
